It is a lot harder than you think to literally follow in someones shadow. It is even harder to keep your mouth shut while doing so. I kept losing my parters shadow and clacking the rocks together so vigorously I actually broke a set. I don't know if I would consider this performance art, more of a tedious and boring game. You wouldnt really think following another person's shadow in the 9:30am sun would be difficult. I mean, the sun is low, shadows are long and we were in a generally open parking lot. You're wrong. It's difficult and it's difficult as hell. Trees, cars, light posts, fences, other class members, everything. Everything is in your way and annoying. Its especially hard when you're 6'2 and kind of goofey, and your partner is small and agile, much like a gazelle. Damn gazelle.
