wait....what

I liked the string project. At first when Pat told us to just go wrap the string everywhere I, of course, was the one that messed up first and wrapped it around the only thing in the room that wasnt allowed to be wrapped. I then proceeded to dangle string from the track lights, hooks on the wall, other people, wrap several loops around junctions in the many intersecting string lines and generally make it 20x more difficult for everyone else. But hey, it wouldnt've been as fun if it were easy, right? I liked how it sort of made us see line in a different way. Not just as a mark on a canvas or the edge of a building. The string was something we did, not just something we observed. I hope we can do more interactive and "out of our seat" work like this through out the semester :)
